Archives and Chapin have relocated to Apartment 3 of the Southworth Schoolhouse, 96 School Street. Services will resume early September.
The College Archives and Chapin Library are setting up home in their temporary quarters in the Southworth School. Small working collections have been transferred to the new location and the rest of the summer will be spent installing offices and services points. Opening is scheduled for early September 2008. All Stetson collections from Archives, Chapin Library and Sawyer storage earmarked to be moved to the Library Shelving Facility have been successfully relocated. Processing of collections into the LSF will be ongoing through the fall of 2008. Small working collections of Chapin and Archives materials, were moved to temporary quarters on Southworth Street.

The College Archives and the Chapin Library are now closed to enable both libraries to prepare collections for the summer move. Collections and services will be unavailable until September 2008 when both libraries have established operations in the Southworth School. On January 1st 2008, the Chapin Library and the College Archives will close their doors. To stage collections for their removal from Stetson Hall, Chapin and Archives staff have begun moving collections within the Stetson stack core. This will result in increased use of the Stetson elevators. We regret any inconvenience this may cause to
